Ariel has completed work on a TV pilot presentation called "Outside In and Inside Out."
Ariel’s first introduction to mantra was from his first teacher, his mother, Crystal. She taught him several mantras during his childhood and another just before taking him on a pilgrimage to India (to see Satya Sai Baba) in 1996. During Ariel’s childhood it was not uncommon to chant ”aum” before meals as a form of grace. Though his mother didn’t “formally” introduce Ariel into a mantra discipline, her life as a bhakti influences his heart to this day.
Ariel’s second induction into the art of mantra came directly from his feng shui master, Elnathan “Nate” Batoon. In the year 2000, Ariel was given a 40-day meditation discipline as part of his initiation into the art of feng shui. He was instructed to say three mantras each day. One of which was the very first mantra his mother taught him as a child.
In 2003, Ariel met vedic priest Thomas Ashley-Farrand, (Namadeva) author of Healing Mantras and regular contributor to Yoga Journal magazine. At this time Ariel began to learn a deeper understanding of the art of mantra and he began a regular practice which he continues today.
He has practiced meditation with Tony Robbins, Sally Kempton, Yasuhiko Kimura, Tej Kaur Khalsa, Kyle Matthews, Darren Main and Bhagavan Das. Ariel has alsostudied Yoga and Yogic philosophy with Rodney Yee, John Friend, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Douglass Brooks, Aadil Pakhivala and his dear friend and colleague, Christine Burke.
